How
it works...
Become
a farm member by purchasing a share of the
harvest.
A share is equivalent to one grocery bag or enough produce
to feed a family of 4 each week.
A standard share 16
weeks of produce June-September at $400.
(Includes harvesting your own herbs from our raised herb
garden).
A summer share
10
weeks of your choice at $250 July-September.
(Includes harvesting your own herbs from our raised herb
garden).
A flower
share (8
bouquets) One each week - July & August.
Select your own from the garden or picked by us.
$80.
Pick
up sites & deliveries...
Shares will be picked up at the farm in the Events Barn on
Monday evenings 4-7 PM
Deliveries may be arranged at additional fees.
As membership grows we plan to offer other delivery sites
in your town.
Payment options...
Pay total - Due with sign-up to become a farm member.
Extended Pay - You may split into 4 payments.
All payments must be made in full by June 1.
Become a part of the farm community...
As memberships are established we will be looking for a
core group interested
in working on the farm in exchange for produce.
Learn about growing, preparing soils, and sustainable farm
practices
through our workshops & work bees.
Other benefits...
Members will be contacted first for bulk harvesting -
pick your own for freezing & canning.
As things progress we will be adding goods from other local
farms - examples: maple syrup, eggs, honey, meat, cheese.
Workshops, recipes, newsletters, work bees, member
potlucks, concerts - but most of all a chance to help our
local economy, share in the harvest and farm community.
What are the risks?...
As a member of the Dhaseleer Farm's community supported
agriculture program you will share in the risks of crop
failures with the farm. Further, you will be agreeing to
pick-up your weekly share in a timely manner or let it be
sold or donated to someone else.
What produce to expect?...
We first work to provide a solid staple of produce such as
Beans,carrots,beets,cucumbers,onions,peas,potatoes,sweet
corn,tomatoes,zucchini,squash,salad greens,swiss chard
& will also try to provide new things such as
kale, eggplant, peppers, garlic and also small fruits like
strawberries,raspberries,blueberries.
We will do our best to keep you informed on the next weeks
harvest so you can plan ahead.
All of our crops are grown using earth-friendly sustainable
farming practices. We use no chemical fertilizers or
pesticides.
